ROLE OVERVIEW
We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team to influence and implement engineering efforts across various domains such as indexing, federated GraphQL, and observability. You'll have the agency to deploy solutions meaningfully impacting millions of people worldwide depending on our services.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Help manage and scale AWS infrastructure for our platform using services such as ECS, OpenSearch (ElasticSearch), DynamoDB, S3, Redis, SQS, EC2 and more.
• Design and program solutions to complex scaling issues.
• Implement best practices for building and maintaining large-scale systems.
• Build and maintain build/deploy tooling using CloudFormation, terraform, and GitHub actions.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, operations and procedures.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, and constantly improve our processes.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Intimate knowledge of AWS services such as ECS, Opensearch (ElasticSearch), DynamoDB, S3, Redis, SQS, EC2.
• Experience managing and deploying systems to serve billions of messages / day.
• Experience working in linux based environments.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of typescript, nodejs, git, and other modern programming practices.
• Crypto experience is a plus.
