Is NEUTRAL the same as safe?

No. NEUTRAL means nothing has been flagged so far. A token can still go bad later, for example if the owner keeps the power to pause trading or change the contract, and those powers show up as reasons rather than a verdict. Treat NEUTRAL as no red flags yet, not as safe.

What does coverage mean, and why read it first?

Coverage says how much contract analysis (simulated buys and sells, static checks) stood behind the verdict. ANALYZED: the analysis ran and was decisive. INCONCLUSIVE: it ran without a decisive result. NOT_ANALYZED: the verdict rests on holder, liquidity, trading, and moderation signals only. A NEUTRAL token with NOT_ANALYZED coverage has had no honeypot or tax check, so it is worth showing differently from an analysed one.

How is the score calculated?

Each reason that fires adds points, with a cap per family and a bonus when reasons from three or more families fire together. The total is clamped to 100. It is a weighted heuristic rather than a probability, so a score of 70 does not mean a 70% chance of a scam. Authority reasons (mint, freeze, pause) are reported without adding points, and a high score alone never produces a SCAM verdict. That takes mechanical proof or a moderator label.

How fresh is an assessment?

Codex re-assesses tokens in the background as new data arrives, and queries read the latest stored result. flaggedAt is the Unix time the assessment last changed, so a re-check that reaches the same result does not move it. Rank by riskFlaggedAt to see what changed most recently. The board at the top of this page runs that query.

Can I get pushed when a token gets flagged?

Not as a webhook today. Risk is read through the token and pair queries. Poll filterTokens or filterPairs ranked by riskFlaggedAt, or re-read a token's risk block alongside the price you already fetch. Webhooks currently cover price, pair, transfer, launch, and prediction events.

How does this relate to isScam and potentialScam?

Both still exist and still work. filterTokens hides tokens labelled isScam by default, so pass includeScams: true when you filter for SCAM verdicts. potentialScam and potentialScamReasons are the older automated flag. The risk block is the more complete signal, with the verdict, score, coverage, and reason codes in one place.

Which networks and which plans?

The risk block comes back on the token and pair queries you already run. Contract analysis depends on the network and on a supported trading venue for the token's pool, and the coverage field tells you per token whether it ran. The contract simulator endpoints, which return the buy and sell tax numbers, need a Growth or Enterprise plan and are in beta.
